Mexico City Tuesday April 29th - Museo de Anthropology
Tuesday April 29 we went to breakfast at La Vasconia on Tacuba street. This was a solid meal, once again. They were nice enough to make tacos for the ladies, even though it was desayuno. We jumped on one of the topless buses constantly circulating the city and arrived at the Museo de anthropology.
Later, we visited Chapultepec Castle which housed royalty and important dignitaries throughout history.
Afterwards, we rode the topless bus and looped back to the metropolitan cathedral, close to our hotel. It was rush hour, which in Mexico is a complete chaos. For some reason, drivers all lean on their horns continually until arriving at their destination.
We had dinner at a Mexican Italian diner style cafe. Yes, Mexican-Italian, and we agreed to eat there. I ordered a Mexican sub and French fries and the ladies had pasta. We gave up trying to eat and we just watched the end of Spider-man 2, which was blaring from the 4 LCD screens in the room. La cuenta, por favor!
After contracting an intestinal virus I spent the next 3 days in bed. Sorry, no pics.
